Cave Creek Recreation Area
Cave Creek Recreation Area offers Family camping and Group camping areas. The family campground consists of 38 campsites for tent or RV camping. Each site has a large parking area to accommodate up to a 45 foot RV, water and electrical hook-ups, a picnic table, barbecue fire ring. We offer immaculate restrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers. Those needing a dump facility can utilize the campground dump station for a $5.00 fee. Overnight camping in the family campground is $15.00 per night. Sorry we do not accept reservations, the family campground is on a first-come/first served-basis. For large camping groups, Cave Creek offers a Group Campground. The group campground is a 2-acre parking area that can accommodate 80+ RV units. The Group Campground offers a restroom with flush toilets and hot showers, ramadas with picnic tables, a fire ring, and an activity area. The Group Campground is available for dry camping by reservation only for a fee of $30.00. The nightly camping fee is $8.00 per camping unit. Cave Creek Recreation Area

Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Lake Pleasant Regional Park offers 148 sites for RV and tent camping. Desert Tortoise Campground has 76 sites campsites, 25 developed sites, 41 semi-developed sites, and 10 tent sites. Each developed campsites has water, electricity, a covered ramada, a picnic table, a barbecue grill and fire ring. Each semi-developed site and tent site has a covered ramada, a picnic table, a barbecue grill and fire ring. Restroom and shower facilities are available.Developed camping is $15.00 per night. Semi-developed and tent camping is $8.00 per night. Roadrunner Campground and Picnic Area offers 72 sites for RV and tent camping. Every site has water and electricity, a picnic table, covered ramada, barbecue grill, and fire ring. Restrooms with shower facilities are available. Overnight developed camping in the campgrounds is $15.00 per night. The developed sites all have water and electrical hookups. Overnight semi-developed Campsites are available on a first-come first-served basis. Shoreline camping is permitted at a fee of $5.00 per night.

Lake Pleasant is located 15 miles west of I-17 (Black Canyon Freeway) on Carefree Highway (State Route 74) 30 miles north of Phoenix.

McDowell Mountain Regional Park
McDowell Mountain Regional Park offers family camping and Group camping areas. The Family Campground consists of 76 camping sites for tent or RV camping. Each site has a large parking area to accommodate up to a 45-footRV, water and electrical hookups, a picnic table, barbecue grill and fire ring. We offer immaculate restrooms with flush toilets and hot water showers. All of our restrooms offer handicapped accessible flush-toilets and showers. Those needing a dump facility can utilize the campground dump station for a $5.00 fee. Overnight camping in the family campground is $15.00 per night. Sorry we do not accept reservations, the family campground is on a first come first serve basis.

The park is located 4 miles North of the Town of Fountain Hills. Take Shea Blvd East to Fountain Hills or SR87 north form the 202 to Fountain Hills. Take Saguaro Blvd through town of Fountain Hills Blvd and turn right and go 4 miles
